Welcome to Taunton U3A

Meet & Greet mornings

13 JAN
Visit to Eastern Germany

This was an interesting and well illustrated talk with a different slant. Julia and Ron Cann talked of their recent holiday in Eastern Germany and showed lovely pictures to support it. The real treat was seeing some of the wonderful paintings inspired by their holiday- painted by the very gifted Ron.

10 FEB - Recycling
David Mansell of the Somerset Waste Partner-
ship delivered a real insight into the complexities, im-
portance and successes of the Recycling scheme here in Somerset. It was a very topical talk - relevant to us all - and made surprisingly interesting by a very enthusiastic speaker

Taunton U3A provides many opportunities for anyone who has reached retirement, or is approaching retirement, to enjoy:
  • developing and sharing existing interests with others
  • taking up new interests
  • drawing on the skills, knowledge and experience of others.
No qualifications are required, and none are given.

You may join an existing group or start a group of your own with help from the U3A Groups' Co-ordinator. We find that we all benefit and learn by sharing interests within a friendly sociable setting.

The Taunton U3A Leaflet (see under Publications) will require Adobe Reader available as a free download.

Please note: the Members' Noticeboard (anyone can look at it!) is on a page of its own - see Noticeboard link on the left
